    musicalchef, I’m not so sure how comprehensive the online dictionary is though, so that lugged dictionary may come in handy after all!

    asallamolekum…
    mujhe ghazal or sufiyana kamal sunne ka bohat shook hai.. lekin us mein beshtar farsi ke lafz istamal hote hain.. jis ki waja se kalam ko samjh ne mein kafi dikat pesh ati hai..
    mujhe farsi se kafi lagao bhi hai seekhne ka ishteyak bhi..
    agar mujhe apki janbi se kuch maddat mil sakte to bohat nawazish hogi..

  10. I love farsi and in a struggle to learn it by heart,even sometime i assume it as mothertongue.I belong to chitral and recently staying in peshawar.May any one belong to peshawar may help me volunterily.

    Thanks a lot Maryam and mskoonj ,to help out me for the word,”jaroob kashi” Actually i have used this word(lafzi tarkeeb)in one of my poetic verse (shair) and i was in doubt of it,s pronunciation .Can i help from both of you when ever i need?

    I live in Afghanistan. and yes there are certain difference between Iran’s Farsi and Afghanistan’s Dari; but mostly refers to accent and some wordings; that is not too much that we don;t understand each other.

      Firstly Ramazan Mubarak.
      Concerning the meaning of the word you have written, I don;t think Shazane is a farsi word. Please check again.
